1. Overview
This policy describes how cancellations and refunds work for padhai Pro subscriptions, operated by Fathom Learning Studio at fathomlearning.studio. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited.
2. Subscription — Cancellation
- You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time.
- To cancel, go to your account settings within the padhai app and select "Cancel Subscription", or email support@fathomlearning.studio with your registered email address and a cancellation request.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly billing period.
- You will retain Pro access (5,000 messages/day) for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.
- After the billing period ends, your account automatically reverts to a restricted access state. No data is deleted.
3. Refund Policy
As a digital SaaS service with immediate access granted upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds for partial months. However, we will issue a full refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge promptly.
- Service unavailability: If padhai was inaccessible for more than 48 consecutive hours during a paid period due to reasons within our control, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected days.
- Accidental subscription within 24 hours: If you subscribed unintentionally and contact us within 24 hours of payment, we will review the request and, at our discretion, issue a full refund provided you have not substantially used the Pro features.
- Billing error: Any incorrect amount charged due to a system or pricing error will be refunded in full.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email support@fathomlearning.studio with:
- Subject line:
Refund Request — [your registered email] - Your registered email address
- The Razorpay payment ID or order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- The reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 7 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method. Razorpay typically completes refunds within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Fathom Learning Studio is not responsible for delays caused by your bank.
6. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the same date as your original purchase. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email with at least 30 days' notice before taking effect.
