1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using padhai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Fathom Learning Studio at fathomlearning.studio.
2. Description of Service
padhai is an AI-powered educational assistant for CBSE students in grades 9–12, providing step-by-step help with Science and Mathematics. It also works for students whose school follows the NCERT curriculum. Responses are generated by third-party AI models and are intended to support learning — they do not replace qualified teachers or tutors.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years of age to use padhai. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must consent to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@fathomlearning.studio if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is not permitted.
5. Plans and Pricing
Subscription Plan
- ₹299 per month (inclusive of applicable taxes where required).
- 5,000 AI messages per day.
- Access to all available chat modes including Deep Learning.
- Billed monthly via Razorpay. Subscription renews automatically on the same date each month.
Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice provided via email or in-app notification. Price changes apply at the next renewal cycle.
6. Payment Terms
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. By subscribing to Pro, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
- Failed payments may result in suspension of Pro access until payment is resolved.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@fathomlearning.studio. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until that date. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale.
- Submit content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful to others.
- Attempt to circumvent message limits, rate limits, or any other technical restriction.
- Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others.
- Share account credentials with other individuals.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of this section, without refund.
9. AI Limitations
padhai is an AI-powered tool. Its responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. AI-generated content should not be the sole basis for important academic decisions. Always verify important information from authoritative sources and consult qualified teachers or educators. Fathom Learning Studio does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, branding, and trade marks related to padhai are the property of Fathom Learning Studio or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without written permission.
Your study queries and chat content remain yours. By submitting content to the Service, you grant Fathom Learning Studio a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Fathom Learning Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fathom Learning Studio and its employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
13. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@fathomlearning.studio.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
